Botanicals & Blaze started pretty simply. I wanted to spend less time behind a computer and to feel more connected to the physical world around me. I found myself happiest wandering in the mountains, sitting by the water or near a fire. The scents and textures of nature were peaceful and comforting.

I never thought I was starting a brand, I was just looking for ways to surround myself with the things that brought me small moments of joy.

At first, it was all just experimental. Planting a garden, seeing what grew and what didn't. Making things, building things, learning. Playing with oils, plants, scent blends. Trying things out.

Little by little, the garden kept expanding until I had more than I knew what to do with. I started learning about herbs and other plants and how to preserve them. Learning how plants can nourish and heal us became a bit of an obsession. I wanted to feel like I could do things for my family without needing to run to the store at every turn.

Hundreds of hours and books later, I'm still learning. That will never stop, knowledge has always been something thay feeds my soul. In my own journey, I've realized that things dont have to be complicated or expensive to be great. Small things can change the way your day starts, unfolds or ends.

Botanicals & Blaze is built around that idea, natural simplicity in products made from the herbs and flowers around us.

Ive become fully immersed in worlds of self sufficiency, small scale farming and herbal education for healing and skincare. The formulas are simple on purpose. When ingredients are good, you don't need alot of extra additives.

All of our products are designed to have multiple uses. Natural home and body care products dont have to be complicated or expensive to be worth it.

I didn’t want products that just smelled nice. I wanted to eliminate chemical fragrances, synthetics and toxins; to incorporate the beauty and natural fragrance of plants.

Something you feel good about buying, and I love to make. That’s still what I’m building here.
